Ruby for Good

Ruby for Good is an annual event based out of the DC-metro area where Ruby programmers from all over the globe get together for a long weekend to build projects that help our communities. Ruby for Good was launched in 2014 and has been held at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation in Front Royal, Virginia. In 2018 the event will take place in Washington DC at Georgetown University. Participants stay in on-site dorms; coding and socializing takes place in communal areas.

Python for Good

Python for Good is an annual event based out of the Portland area where Python programmers from all over the globe get together for a long weekend to build projects that help our communities. In 2017, the event took place in Portland at Reed College. Participants stay in on-site dorms; coding and socializing takes place in communal areas.
